The Office of Employment and Training (OET) maintains the largest resource of job openings
available in the state through the Kentucky Job Bank.
And because we are a part of a national network of Employment Services
across the United States we are able to connect you with employment
opportunities nationwide through America's Job Bank. Employment
Services is recognized nationally by job seekers and employers for our
ability to provide access to employment related services conveniently
through one source.
In addition to being
the largest repository of job openings, OET is also responsible for the
administration of a number of
programs and services
that are designed to assist individuals with specific needs.
Your first step is to
contact or register with the Kentucky Office of Employment and Training
to let us know the type of services in which you are interested. You may
visit the OET Office that is
in your area to obtain personal assistance or you may

on-line.
When you register you will be asked to
provide information relating to your work history, experience,
education, special training, your interests and any specific skills you
possess. In essence you are simply supplying the kind of information
that is normally included on your resume. This allows us to conduct a
more effective job search for you. By matching your skills and
qualifications to the requirements specified by the employer, there is
greater potential the employer will consider you for the position.
