Important Notice:
All systems for filing Unemployment Insurance are currently available. Due to extremely high volumes you may experience a delay.

If you are filing for regular UI Benefits or requesting regular UI benefit checks, please use the internet by selecting the Internet Claim Filing link below.

If you are filing an EUC claim, please use the Internet Claim Filing link below.

If you are requesting EUC benefit checks, please do so by calling 866-291-2926.

If you are requesting your benefit check you may do so anytime during the week you were instructed to Sunday-Friday. You are not required to request benefits on Sunday or Monday. If you wish you may request benefits later in the week when call volumes are lower.

Hours for requesting benefits are Sunday 2pm-9pm and Monday-Friday 7am-7pm.

Unemployment Benefits - Internet Claim Filing
Individuals may file for unemployment benefits through this link.  To file a claim, you will need:

Bullet 1 Unemployment Claim Filing Your social security number
Bullet 2 Unemployment Claim Filing Your complete mailing address
Bullet 3 Unemployment Claim Filing Name, address, and phone number for each
of your employers over the last 18 months.
Bullet 4 Unemployment Claim Filing The exact day you began work at each job.
Bullet 5 Unemployment Claim Filing The last day you worked at each job.

The KEWES internet claims system is accessible for filing an unemployment claim or requesting your bi-weekly check on-line. The system is available Monday through Saturday from 7:00 AM until 7:00 PM and Sunday from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM Eastern Time. You cannot request bi-weekly checks on Saturdays.

-- If you have filed a claim for the Extended Benefit, you must request your checks bi-weekly by calling 866-291-2926, you can not request them online.  If you are unsure of your filing status contact your nearest local office.
Job Search and Registration*
*Note: The work registration process is included as part of the Unemployment Claim Filing process, it is not necessary to do it separately if you have already filed an unemployment claim.

You can search for a job or register for work through this link.  Registering for work is an easy way to get your application out for employers to consider when hiring.

Unemployment Benefits - Telephone Claim Filing
Unemployment Insurance claimants who do not have access to the Internet or who speak Spanish can call 859-547-3362 Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Eastern Time, to file their initial or reopen claims by telephone. This is not a toll-free number.

To request your bi-weekly benefit check by telephone call 866-291-2926 (toll free).
Job Search Contact Reporting
You should report at least one contact for each week since the last time you reported.

Employer Electronic Services
Employers can establish or reopen an unemployment insurance account, submit quarterly tax reports, or pay unemployment taxes on-line through this link.
Employer Job Order Form
To submit a job order online to the Office of Employment and Training, please complete the online job order form. When you are finished, select the OET county office nearest your place of business. Upon submission of your online job order form, you may be contacted by an employment specialist to confirm your request and obtain any additional information.
