Math Skills Workshop

The Math Skills Workshop involves five levels to test your basic math skills in the categories of Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Fractions, Percentages and Math Computation. Each section will direct you on the process to follow when answering the problems.  At the end of each section is a drop-down box of correct answers for you to compare against your answers.

If you are preparing for a job interview, there is a likelihood that you may be required to take a basic skills test that will test your math abilities. Companies today are increasingly using different types of tests to provide additional feedback about you that isn't necessarily confined to what they obtain during the interview process.  Although these tests are not the only factor that will be used to determine whether you are hired, it is to your advantage to brush up on your basic math skills so that you will be prepared.

If you do not do as well as you think you should on the Math Workshop, you can obtain assistance in upgrading your skills by contacting the local Adult Education and Literacy Program in your area.  They provide free classes in Academic Skills upgrades as well as free GED classes and a number of other programs and services to assist you in becoming more employable.
