Veterans Career Fair

Richmond and Winchester Office of Employment and Training, in conjunction with the Lexington Central Kentucky Job Center, will be conducting a Veterans Career Fair on Friday, May 22nd, from 11am to 3pm at the Madison County Fairgrounds in Richmond. 
The fairgrounds are on Highway 52 between Richmond and Irvine. 

This will be a region-wide career fair for veterans for the Bluegrass Region to
include the following counties: Madison, Clark, Estill, Fayette, Jessamine,
Garrard, Rockcastle, and Jackson.

 

This Veterans Career Fair will be the kick off to the Kentucky Veterans Celebration that will begin at 3pm on Friday and continue on Saturday.  The Celebration will have musical performances, car show, Elvis impersonator, jet flyovers, raffle for a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle, fireworks Saturday night, and a program to honor all of our veterans but focusing on those who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. 

There is no charge for the Career Fair or for the celebration.
